My Story

On Monday the 26th of June im race riding in a charity race for Team Chepstow to raise money for Racing Welfare, a credible charity that works within racing itself. 

Abit about me, I landed in racing at 17 after growing up with a friend who's dad became a full time trainer & himself became a jockey, after a week of just being a yard man I sat on a horse for the first time & belive it or not I went straight up the gallop that day 🙈 but from then on Iv never looked back, i moved away to bigger yards to expand my knowledge & skills & worked for trainers such as Phillip HobbesKarl Burke, Ben Haslam, Daniel Kubler and Grace Harris. Iv not long moved back home to be able to be back around my family & im back with John Flint who got me on this amazing journey Iv had so for to start with. Iv been very fortunate to ride/look after some amazing horses over the last 16yrs & been to some amazing meetings along the way. So for me this is me giving something back to the sport that has given me a purpose from the moment I left school until present. I'd also like to thank all the trainers, head lads, ex jockeys Iv met over the years who gave me so much help me to get to where I am within racing! Especially John & Martine flint as without them my career & this charity day wouldn't have been possible 😊
